If the game is running slowly, the game probably won't reach 60 frames per second. Because the game engine with which the game was created regulates the speed via the frames per second. So if you played the game at 120 frames per second it would run twice as fast and at 30 frames only half as fast etc.
Or in short, your PC probably isn't powerful enough to play the game smoothly. Oh and one possible solution would be to use a more powerful PC to play the game.
Download the "lite" version. If I remember correctly, the error means that the lighting effects in the game are not working with your graphics driver or graphics card. In the lite version I removed all light effects so it should work then.

Then i decided to try using itch on browser and I did manage to download it but whenever I tried opening the game it said something with the game not having a license and therefore can't be opened or something. I don't know if I might be doing something wrong
Since the game is larger than 1 gigibyte and therefore cannot be hosted directly on itch.io, it is downloaded externally. The external hoster is mega. That means your browser must support the download of the file hoster Mega. Chrome and Firefox are usually good choices. Safari often causes problems with larger files. Unfortunately I can't say anything about other browsers like Edge or Opera.

However, the money earned there has nothing to do with the game or me. I made the game in my spare time as a promotion for him and took no money for it. And the second point would be that the project itself is finished and I'm already working on the next project in the series. Of course, the new project is also free. And I have no plans to turn this hobby into my work.

Windows installation:
Run the self-extracting 7zip exe to unzip the game. Open the games folder and start game.exe to start the game.

If you want to see your FPS (frames per second) in game, just press the F2 key. Then the FPS should be displayed on the top left.

The game only has English text. So there is no localization for other languages. My native language, that of the developer, is German.
